J.J. got his first taste of overseas travel while studying abroad, and he was hooked. But at nearly 7 feet tall, flying long-distances in economy was too difficult. So, he put his legal background to work and explored the world of credit card points & airline miles. The results have been incredible: J.J. and his wife, Carlee, have traveled to over 75 countries in first class style compliments of points & miles.

J.J.’s experience in the award travel industry is extensive. He has been a contributor to The Points Guy website, a featured speaker at numerous travel conventions, and he received national recognition for a creative rental car strategy that earned more than three million airline miles. In 2017, J.J. began consulting friends & family with his unique points & miles wealth management system, and TravelWealth (formerly Easy Go Traveler) was born.

J.J. attended UC Santa Barbara, where he played basketball and graduated with a joint degree in Law & Society and Global & International Studies. He then attended the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV and has been a licensed attorney since 2007.
